Student Placements

Student placements offer a practical opportunity for implementing theory. It also provides Children's Choice and the student opportunity to assess potential post-placement employment arrangements.

Children's Choice offers bachelors', masters' and doctoral placements to students pursuing degrees in human services fields of study such as administration, social work, psychology, mental health, and other related disciplines. Opportunities are available in Pennsylvania , Delaware , Maryland and Washington, D.C.

Children's Choice has received students from: Bryn Mawr College, Delaware State University, Eastern University , Marywood University, Philadelphia Biblical University, Salisbury University, Temple University , University of Delaware , University of Maryland, Widener University, and Wilmington College .

Students are provided with clinical experience that includes:

(1) Weekly individual and/or group supervision;

(2) Provision of direct services to children and their families;

(3) Participation in case conferencing and planning; and

(4) Administrative programs in human resources, business management and Information Technology.
