While there are fees associated with international adoption for the costs of bringing home your child, you may rest assured that we are a humanitarian based, non-profit agency. At client's request, we provide breakdowns of the adoption fees so you can see all of the services your money is purchasing, from translations, shipping, interpreters, drivers, and airfare, to running offices overseas.

We welcome families of various income levels, and believe that finances should not be a barrier to children finding homes. There are many options available to finance your adoption, and we do not expect our clients to have the funds up front. Our counselors are available to discuss creative ways to finance your adoption.

Please consider that when you adopt through Children's Choice:

•  You don't have to pay for services until they are received.

•  Payments are done in installments to make it more affordable for families.

•  We are up front about all fees and provide complete breakdowns of process and travel expenses so you can budget accordingly with full information.

•  Be careful when comparing agency fees. Many agencies may only tell you a portion of their fees that appear to be less expensive, but have hidden fees such as charging separately for mileage, high application fees, and mandatory education course fees.

•  We do not have minimum requirements for families. Families adopting Internationally just need to make 125% of the poverty line, which for a family of 4 is only about $24,187.

We have provided an overview of fees involved in adopting a child through Children's Choice. When budgeting, it is important to recall that home study, post placement, document authentication, Immigration, and travel expenses are additional.
